capturing Your first days together
Fresh 48 sessions are typically held within the first 48 hours after your baby arrives (or within the first five days, depending on my availability and your recovery). They’re the closest thing to birth photography, capturing your baby while they’re still so fresh and new, during the beautiful blur of those early postpartum days.
Having experienced birth myself, I know just how incredible and life-changing those first moments are. I have a few photos of me holding Blair skin on skin with the hospital wrap and it is one of my favourite photos of us. It takes me right back to that moment, a feeling like no other. Proud, happy and very emotional.
With a gentle documentary approach, I’ll capture your baby just as they are. Their tiny toes, sleepy stretches, smoochy lips and all the beautiful little details that you'll want to remember forever.
It would be such an honour to be welcomed into your newborn bubble, whether at home or at Wairau Hospital. No fuss or pressure - just me and my camera, capturing the moments you'll want to treasure forever.

The Details
Session
A relaxed one-hour session for your baby, parents, and siblings, with a gentle focus on mum and baby. Thoughtfully guided while allowing plenty of space for natural moments to unfold, capturing your baby exactly as they are.
Home or Hospital
We can tailor your session to be exactly how you want it. Whether in hospital, after a home birth, or in the comfort of your own home, we'll document this chapter in a way that feels natural to you and your baby.
What to wear
I recommend having an outfit that you're comfortable in, that's postpartum and breastfeeding friendly (if you choose to breastfeed), and something that you're happy to wear in the photos. For baby I recommend having them in a nappy and wrapped so we can unwrap them and capture their belly button, little toes and showing some skin.

- 30x Digital Images included in your package
AVAILABILITY:
Weekdays from 10am.
Should you fall in love with more, you'll have the option to upgrade your gallery after viewing your images.
To secure your session date, a $150 retainer is required within 48 hours of booking. The remaining balance is due on the 1st of the month your session is booked.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or Stripe, and flexible payment plans are available on request. Simply mention this in your contact form and we can arrange an option that works for you.
